Conditions

Knee pain

Knee pain depends on the knee and on how the hip, foot and posture work together. A strong plan targets drivers, not only symptoms.

Gonalgia is knee pain, whether at the front, inside, outside or back of the joint. It can show up with stairs, running, squatting or after long periods of sitting.

Common contributors include activity overload, sudden training changes, hip weakness, ankle stiffness, altered foot support and poor control during lowering or landing tasks.

If it persists, it may limit sport and daily life, cause recurrent swelling and increase stress on other areas through compensation. It can also reduce confidence to move.

At Kinésica we integrate hands-on care and movement retraining: osteopathy to restore mobility in the hip/ankle when relevant, targeted manual manipulations, and muscle-chain work plus RPG to refine posture and loading mechanics.

Assessment includes gait and squat analysis, glute strength and knee control. Sessions progress with dosed exercise, functional training and clear guidance to return to running or training.

Approach at Kinésica

Techniques are paired with progressive exercise for a more resilient knee.
