Knee varus

Knee varus describes a more outward alignment. We focus on mobility, strength and mechanics to improve load tolerance and comfort.

Knee varus is an alignment where the knees tend to sit more outward with a greater gap between them. It can be an individual characteristic and does not always cause pain.

When symptoms occur, hip and ankle mobility, foot support and load distribution during walking or training often matter. Stiffness and weakness in key muscle groups can increase stress.

Without a plan, it may be associated with discomfort on the inner or outer side of the knee and fatigue with long walks or sport. Compensations at the hip and foot can also develop.

At Kinésica we integrate hands-on care—osteopathy and manual manipulations when indicated—to improve mobility, and add RPG plus muscle-chain work to optimize posture and loading patterns.

Assessment reviews gait, strength and control in functional tasks. Sessions include progressive strengthening, dynamic alignment drills and load-management guidance tailored to your activity.
