Conditions
Hip pain
Hip pain may come from the joint, soft tissues or compensation from the pelvis and low back. A global approach improves function and tolerance.
Coxalgia is pain around the hip: groin, lateral hip, buttock or deep joint area. It may appear when walking, climbing stairs, sitting long or turning in bed.
Common causes include joint overload, periarticular tendinopathies, capsule stiffness, glute weakness and pelvic or lumbar changes. Sudden activity increases or inactivity also matter.
Without care it can limit gait, sport and sleep, and create compensations in the knee, low back or opposite foot.
At Kinésica we assess hip, pelvis and spine as a system. We use osteopathy and manual therapy to improve mobility, plus muscle-chain work and RPG to reorganize load and lumbopelvic control.
Sessions progress with glute and hip-control exercise, dosing guidance and a plan to return to walking, training or standing with more comfort.
