Meniscopathy
Meniscus-related symptoms may include pain, swelling or catching. Rehab aims to restore motion and load tolerance progressively.
Meniscopathy refers to symptoms related to the knee meniscus. It may show up as joint-line pain, swelling, a catching sensation or limited bending.
It can occur after a twist or impact, or from accumulated training/work load. Hip and ankle mobility and movement control influence how forces are distributed through the knee.
Without treatment, mobility may drop, swelling can recur and walking, stairs or training can become limited. Long-term avoidance can reduce strength and stability.
At Kinésica we integrate hands-on care and exercise: osteopathy and targeted manual manipulations when indicated to improve mobility and reduce tension, plus muscle-chain work and RPG to optimize alignment and control under load.
Assessment looks at range, flexion tolerance, strength and functional tasks. Sessions progress with strengthening, neuromuscular control and a clear return-to-sport plan to reduce flare-ups.
Approach at Kinésica
Our goal is safe progression of motion and load for a stable knee.
