Cervical and lumbar flattening
Loss of cervical or lumbar lordosis stiffens the spine and can cause pain. Postural re-education helps restore mobility and control.
Spinal flattening is the reduction or loss of the physiological curve (lordosis) in the neck or low back. Imaging may show a “straighter” spine; clinically it means stiffness and fatigue.
It often relates to sustained postures, stress, limited thoracic mobility, protective patterns after pain or training habits. It does not always hurt, but it can predispose to overload.
If it persists, neck or shoulder tension, standing low-back discomfort and thoracic or pelvic compensations can increase. Tolerance to sedentary work may also drop.
At Kinésica we prioritize RPG and muscle-chain work to restore postural organization and mobility. We integrate osteopathy and manipulations when restrictions block a functional curve.
Assessment covers posture, segmental mobility and control. Sessions work on breathing, dosed extension and load strategies so your spine tolerates daily life better.
Approach at Kinésica
RPG and chain work are central to restoring functional curves.
