Sacroiliac pain
Pain near the sacrum and buttock may relate to the sacroiliac region and how load is distributed through pelvis, hip and spine.
Sacroiliac-region pain is felt around the sacrum, buttock or the back of the pelvis. It may show up with walking, prolonged standing or turning in bed.
It can be associated with stiffness or irritation in the sacroiliac region, load asymmetries, glute weakness, or limited hip and lumbar mobility. Pregnancy, sport and repetitive strain may also contribute.
If not managed, it can become recurrent, create lumbar and hip stiffness and interfere with sleep or walking. Compensation patterns may increase low-back tension or groin discomfort.
At Kinésica we integrate osteopathy and manual therapy to improve mobility and reduce local sensitivity, with targeted manual manipulations when indicated. We add muscle-chain work and RPG to refine posture and improve lumbopelvic stability.
Assessment looks at load tolerance, hip mobility and trunk control. Sessions blend symptom relief, progressive strengthening and strategies to return to walking, training and standing comfortably.
Approach at Kinésica
We indicate techniques based on pain pattern and load tests during assessment.
