Conditions
Plantar fasciitis
Plantar fasciitis often hurts with first steps in the morning. With progressive loading, the foot can rebuild tolerance and function.
Plantar fasciitis is pain on the sole of the foot near the heel or arch. It commonly feels worse with the first steps after waking or after sitting.
It is often linked to increased load (walking, running), ankle stiffness, calf tightness and changes in foot support. Posterior-chain tension can increase stress on the plantar tissues.
If not managed, it can alter gait, limit physical activity and create compensations in the knee or hip. Tissue irritability may increase and prolong symptoms.
At Kinésica we integrate manual therapy for the foot and calf, osteopathy to improve mobility and load distribution, and targeted manual manipulations when indicated. We add muscle-chain work and RPG to address global support and gait mechanics.
Assessment includes ankle mobility, load tolerance and support analysis. Sessions progress with foot and calf strengthening, dosing of walking/running and relapse-prevention guidance.
Approach at Kinésica
We treat the foot and the whole chain to make improvements stable and lasting.
