Conditions

Lateral epicondylitis

Tennis elbow isn’t only for athletes: it can come from keyboard work, tools or repetitive forearm loading.

Lateral epicondylitis is pain on the outer side of the elbow, often triggered by gripping, turning a key or using a mouse. It may feel like a sharp ache or burning into the forearm.

It is commonly associated with repetitive overload of the wrist and forearm extensor muscles, sudden activity changes or inadequate recovery. Shoulder and wrist mechanics also influence it.

Without treatment it can limit simple tasks like carrying bags, training or working, and sensitivity may persist. Compensations into the shoulder and neck can develop as well.

At Kinésica we combine hands-on care with a global approach: manual techniques to reduce tension, osteopathy when restrictions contribute, and muscle-chain work to improve how the whole upper limb works together.

Assessment identifies aggravating tasks, grip strength and load tolerance. Sessions progress with specific forearm exercises, activity dosing and strategies to return to sport or work without flare-ups.

Approach at Kinésica

We add progressive exercise so the elbow tolerates daily load better.
